The College of Continuing Education(CCE) of Xiamen University(XMU) is founded as education institution and aimed to provide online education and high-end training to complement the development of general higher education. CCE greatly improves and advances the new type of educational system, which could play a significant role in the development of local economy and society.

CCE carries out the distance education experiment and practice steadily and actively. By integrating the discipline advantages and cultural background of XMU and social demands, CCE has set up majors covering Art, Law, Economy, Management and Engineering through online learning and management. To optimize teaching link, CCE uses online courseware teaching, teaching videos, online homework and discussions, credit system and flexible learning duration to better serve students and improve study efficiency.
