Recently,online-education study centers of CCE hosted the 2016 spring opening ceremony to better instruct the freshmen. CCE vice president Yang Hongfei, Deputy Party Secretary Zheng Bijiao and vice director of Student Admission Department Lijie went to YingQuanZhou, Zhangzhou, Shantou study center respectively.

During the ceremony, leaders of CCE and teachers expressed their warmly welcome towards all the freshmen, introduced the 95-years’ history and achievements of XMU, and encouraged students to overcome difficulties of part-time study, value the chance to study, and improve personal qualities and abilities through online education. Through watching videos about XMU and how to use the study platform, listening to speeches of seniors and freshmen representatives, and taking group photos together, the opening ceremony made good foundation for successful enrollment. 

What worth mentioning was that there were more than 1500 veterans among the freshmen. Dai Binghuang, head of Mingcheng Civil Affairs Department of Zhangzhou, pointed out that the opportunities for veterans to attend the training program were important to implement the ‘soldier-benefit policy’ of Fujian province when he attended the opening ceremony in Zhangzhou. And he hoped all the veterans could follow the regulations and disciplines, adapt to the online-education and manage relationships among working, learning and living.

Moreover, several digital study centers of ‘Hongcheng’ study platform, including Wuxi, Jiangsu, Hangzhou and Wenzhou Study Center, organized 2016 Spring Opening Ceremony as well to enhance the relationship between the teachers and the students and build up sense of belonging.
