Training Program for Cadres from Guizhou Non-ferrous Metals and Nuclear Industry Geological Survey

On the morning of November 11, a grand opening was held in the Science and Art Center of XMU forthe training program in CCE for financial cadres from “Non-ferrous Metals and Nuclear Industry Geological Survey of Guizhou”. Vice president of XMU Zhan Xinli and president Zhou Wen of Non-ferrous Metals and Nuclear Industry Geological Survey of Guizhou attended the opening ceremony presided by CCE party secretary Cai Zhengwei.

Vice president Zhan firstly introduced the history, the campus culture, the competitive subjects, and theinternational programs of XMU. She hoped that the program could help all the trainees to gain new and professional knowledge under the concern of President Zhou and the support of competitive and various education resources and teaching experiences of XMU. In addition, she expressed warm welcomefrom XMU to students from Guizhou who would work as a bridge to further corporation between Guizhou Province and Xiamen University.

President Zhou introduced the history and the achievements of Non-ferrous Metals and Nuclear Industry Geological Survey of Guizhou, and expressed the original purpose and the significance of the training program. She emphasized that the main goal of the training was to improve professionalism and managerial level of the trainees, and finally broadenedtheir vision.She askedthe trainees to value the chance of attending the program and study hard to gained more knowledge and skills. Moreover, she looked forward to further corporation with XMU in various ways through this training program.

The training program has 60 traineeswho are leaders from different departments and institutions of Guizhou Non-ferrous Metals and Nuclear Industry Geological Survey. The program will last for five days, and the contents include study modules like Finance Management, Risk Control, Tax Planning, Analysis, etc.
