On June 19, 2016, CCE organized almost 160 graduates representatives attended the graduation ceremony of Xiamen University, including graduates from evening college, Xiamen online study center as well as three off-campus study centers. CCE president prof. Zheng Wenli, Deputy Party Secretary Zheng Bijiao, and some teachers and staff as well as graduates’ relatives attended the ceremony and congratulated the graduates together.  

In the afternoon, CCE graduates representatives went to Jiageng Square and had photo together in academic costume. Then, they lined up to Jiannan Hall to attend the graduation ceremony under the leadership of CCE teachers.

Before the official start of the ceremony, there were videos show daily lives of the graduates in campus. Then, the choir leaded all the graduates sing the song of Xiamen University and national anthem of the P.R.C together. The university President Zhu Chongshi, and representatives of teachers, alumni and students talked to the public to express their best wishes to the graduates and the university respectively. President Zhu，on behalf of Xiamen University, gave sincerely congratulations to graduates and encouraged them to pursue dreams and careers in the future. President Zhu also mentioned the spirit of “Jiageng” scientific research ship to tell the important of initiative-study and team-spirit in works and daily life. 

After the announcement of Degree-conferring decision, graduates walked to the stage one by one. Honored guests who sit on the rostrum issued certification to the graduates and flipped the tassels on their cap. Then graduates walked out the hall with flowers lined the road and stepped to the new stage of life.

CCE Graduates said they were impressed by the graduation, and would always keep the School Motto and teachers’ instructions in mind, and win honor for XMU and our country.
